MBA has almost finished
MY MBA course has alomst been finished as I submitted my last asssingment in the beginning of June. What I have to write more is a dissertation. It is required to be 25,000 words. Fantastic!
MBTI
S:In MBA Personal Leadership Career session, I had MBTI class. It opened my eyes about my personality.
T:Today's task was to receive my feedback report about MBTI which I answered 1 month ago. Aim was to enhance our understanding ourselve by using MBTI to become a successful manager.
A:Based on the lecturer's instruction, We understood what the report mean.
R:Compared to other students' result, it was clear that my clarity of preference was too visible and strong. I was aware that my personality type was minority of MBA student.
R:The result made me surprise becauase it perfectly reflected the feature of my preference about thinking, dicision-making, the way of communication. Given the result, I realised the usefulness of MBTI to become a good manager. I would like to write my dissertation in terms of the importantce of MBTI in Japan.
What is the brand associated with?
When I had a "Online brand building course" in MBA, there was a phrase I could not pick up on.
A lecturere asked us "What is the brand associated with?".
So we were supposed to discuss it with students next to us.
However, I could not catch on what she said. A student next to me explained about the meaning.
Whenever I listen to what a native are taling about, I misunderstand it.... Need to practice more!
Good bye Sheffield
This Saturday I will leave Sheffield, where I have been living almost 1 year. Once I came here, I disliked the life in Sheffield. The concern about my IELTS annoyed me all day long. But the longer I am living here, the more I become aware of the convenience in Sheffield. I will never forget what Sheffield is like.
ELTC summer course
My summer course has passed almost 2 weeks. Although I had not planned to take this course, I will have to stay in Sheffield until 22th July because of my visa problem. While I find our classes instructive because teachers persevere to give intensivve information to us, I feel tedious because some materials in this course are repetitive and not challenging. But I might as well conpromise with this situation because there was no choice to take other course for me.
Survey project
Fact: Today I asked 10 bpassengers to answer a questionarrie y in Student Union in order to do survey, of which the aim is to evaluate Custumer satisfaction in a coffee shop.
Find: Although I felt nervous to make an interview, the respondants were almost friendly and gave me a few minutes to write down it.
Found: The survey project is quite interesting and helpful for me to improve English. And also this is a good preparation for my master degree.
Future: I should be affirmative and positive to do any project which an university inpose us because this kinds of task is organized to enhance our social skill and metacognative knowledghe.
